Everton's on-loan striker Landon Donovan hails the "belief" at the club.

Everton's on-loan forward Landon Donovan believes that the club can compete with any side in the Premier League this season.

The 29-year-old, who has made eight appearances for the Toffees since joining on a short-term deal from LA Galaxy in January, hailed the belief in the club.

"Since the day I got here there has always been the belief this team can compete with any team. When I was here last time we beat Chelsea, Manchester United and City – so there is no fear in this club," Donovan told the Daily Express.

Donovan will hope to be in action when Everton welcome Chelsea to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
