Former England number one David James has said that Fabio Capello is the best man for the national job.
The 41-year-old has received call-ups from six different England managers throughout his career, but insists that the Italian and his support staff are the best he has seen.
"Internationally, and I'm not saying this for the call-up, Fabio is the best manager I have worked with," the Bristol City keeper said, according to The People. "The way he prepared us for the World Cup qualifying games was awesome.
"He's no one's friend in respect of putting his arm around people and having favourites – if he doesn't like things anyone does he'll tell them straight away in front of everybody.
"But I liked his style. Everything was organised, information was clear, precise, and he had a support team which followed everything he wanted to do. The preparation we had for the World Cup qualifying games was spot-on. He knew what he was doing."
James was dropped from the England team following the team's exit from the 2010 World Cup and his subsequent move to the Championship club.
