Eintracht Frankfurt came from a goal down to defeat Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 at home in their opening game of the new Bundesliga season on Saturday.
Bayer went ahead at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt after 29 minutes when Stefan Kiessling found the target from close range.
However, Eintracht came back strongly in the second half and equalised in the 57th minute through Stefan Aigner.
The home side's comeback was complete eight minutes before the end of the match.
Martin Lanig scored his side's second and winning goal from the centre of the Bayer penalty area when he headed home Stefano Celozzi's cross.
