Scott Allan has moved a step closer to completing his switch to West Bromwich Albion by passing a medical, according to Sky Sports News.
The 20-year-old travelled to West Brom yesterday evening following Dundee United's decision to accept an offer for their player.
Dundee have been resigned to losing Allan for some time since he decided to reject the club's offer of a new contract.
Both Celtic and Rangers are reportedly keen on Allan, but it now appears that the Baggies have beaten off their rivals.
