Derby County manager Nigel Clough has revealed that he is eager to boost his squad in the newly-opened loan market.
The Rams boss identifies a right midfielder as his main target after Jeff Hendrick was recently ruled out for around three months with an ankle injury.
"We will start making enquiries," Clough told the Derby Telegraph. "There are not too many out there available but there are one or two names we are going to explore.
"It will come down to availability, finances and whether or not they are willing to come but we will start making a few calls."
Derby continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they travel to Millwall.
