Czech Republic coach Michal Bilek has revealed that his side are "very disappointed" following their 4-1 defeat to Russia on the opening day of Euro 2012.
Trailing 2-0 at half time, Vaclav Pilar's strike early in the second half had given the under-par Czechs hope.
However, two late goals for Russia condemned Bilek's men to a convincing loss.
"We are very disappointed but now we have to show our strength and our team spirit," he told reporters. "We are still able to win and the players have a chance to perform in the following two matches so we are going to look forward now."
Co-hosts Poland drew 1-1 with Greece in Friday's other match in Group A.
