Crystal Palace have reportedly gained confidence from contract negotiations with midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The 32-year-old has spent the last three seasons at Selhurst Park, with nine goals being scored in 96 appearances in the Premier League.
Cabaye's deal at the London club is due to expire at the end of June but according to the London Evening Standard, Palace believe that new terms will be agreed.
The report suggests that the France international would have to agree to less money to remain with the Eagles, but talks are continuing ahead of the start of the summer window.
Cabaye made 31 top-flight appearances during the most recent campaign, helping Palace to an 11th-place finish in the standings.
