Marouane Chamakh's agent has claimed that several Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the striker as he prepares to make a decision on his future.
The 30-year-old spent last season at Crystal Palace, scoring five times to help them avoid relegation, but is out of contract at Selhurst Park later this month.
The Eagles are keen to keep hold of the former Arsenal forward, but a deal has yet to be agreed and Chamakh's representative, Willie McKay, has hinted that this has resulted in interest from other top-flight teams hoping to snap up a bargain this summer.
"Marouane is one of the best free agents around this summer and I have spoken to a number of Premier League clubs about him," McKay told reporters.
"When he joined Arsenal from Bordeaux everyone in Europe wanted to sign him and although things did not work out at Arsenal, I think Marouane showed what a top player he was for Crystal Palace last season.
"Marouane is happy and settled in England and wants to stay in the Premier League and hopefully we can have his future resolved within the next 10 days."
Chamakh has made clear his own preference to stay in England, even if he leaves Palace.
