Alexis Sanchez is confident that he and his Chile teammates boast the "winning mentality" necessary to lift the World Cup trophy this summer.
The South Americans moved into the last-16 stage of the competition by beating Spain 2-0 on Wednesday, a defeat which saw the defending champions exit the tournament.
"We have the mentality to be champions," he told reporters at full time. "The Chilean has a winning mentality. My dream is to be world champion.
"We want to achieve something great with young players. It's young people who want to triumph in life."
Jorge Sampaoli's side, who sit second behind the Netherlands on goal difference in the pool, face the Dutch outfit on Monday to determine which team goes into the last-16 as group winners.
