Manchester City have reportedly agreed a £27m deal with Swansea City to land the signature of striker Wilfried Bony.
The Ivory Coast international, who is currently away on Africa Cup of Nations duty, has been closing in on a move to the Premier League champions all month.
Swans boss Garry Monk revealed yesterday that negotiations were still ongoing, although Goal.com claims that a move is now close to being finalised.
It is thought that Bony's former club Vitesse will receive 10% of the total fee, while the 26-year-old will himself earn £75,000 per week.
Fresh reports emerged overnight suggesting that Chelsea could rival City with a £30m bid for the sought-after forward, but it is said that Bony, who scored more goals than any other play in the Premier League throughout 2014, is focused purely on a move to the Etihad Stadium.
