Barcelona are reportedly planning to make a move for Juan Mata after hearing reports that Jose Mourinho is unimpressed with the Spaniard.

Barcelona are poised to make a summer swoop for Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata as they believe he has fallen out with boss Jose Mourinho, according to a report.

The Portuguese is reportedly unconvinced by the 25-year-old and has blocked a wage increase for the Spaniard, despite him winning the club's Player of the Season award.

Tito Vilanova's side have been alerted to this news and are planning to make enquiries into a possible transfer and are prepared to bid £30m for Mata, reports The Mirror.

Mata joined Chelsea in August 2011 for £23.5m.
