Jose Mourinho: 'Mohamed Salah won't be sold in January'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that out-of-favour Mohamed Salah won't be sold during the January transfer window.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that winger Mohamed Salah remains part of his plans at Stamford Bridge.

Salah, who signed from Basel at the start of 2014, has featured just six times this season, including a start against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday night.

His lack of minutes has resulted in speculation regarding his future, but Mourinho has revealed that the Egyptian won't be sold during the January transfer window.

The 51-year-old told reporters: "Salah is a player we like, we trust and he's part of our plans. He's not going anywhere."

Since his move, Salah has made just nine starts and eight substitute appearances for the Blues.
