Jose Mourinho: 'Thibaut Courtois heading to Chelsea after World Cup'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho confirms that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the World Cup.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Thibaut Courtois will return to Chelsea following the conclusion of the World Cup.

The goalkeeper, who is in Brazil as part of Belgium's squad for the tournament, has spent the last three seasons on loan with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.

The manager told Marca: "When the World Cup is over, Courtois will be coming straight back to Stamford Bridge. End of story."

The 22-year-old recently said that he would want to be the first-choice keeper if he remains at Chelsea for the 2014-15 Premier League season.
