Marco Verratti's agent has confirmed that his client is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a new contract.
The Italian midfielder had recently been linked with a January switch to Chelsea.
However, according to his representative Donato Di Campli, the 23-year-old is more likely to extend his deal in the French capital.
"He has not received proposals from other clubs. It's true, we talk with PSG," he told Goal.
"However, there is no signature yet. We are in the right direction for an extension."
Verratti joined the Parisians from Pescara in July 2012.
