Romelu Lukaku "needs" more game time

Romelu Lukaku says that he does "not agree" with Chelsea's decision to keep the striker out of the first team and suggests that he will go on loan in the summer.

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted that he will leave Stamford Bridge this summer on a temporary deal in order to play more regular football.

The 18-year-old moved to the London outfit from Anderlecht at the end of last season but has since failed to break into the first team.

"I need to play more games," Lukaku told De Standaard. "It has not been as I imagined at Chelsea. Both Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Di Matteo have stuck with experienced players.

"I haven't always agreed with their decisions, but as a player you have to accept the decisions of the coach. I don't have any regrets about joining Chelsea. I've learned a lot."

Lukaku has only made six Premier League appearances for the Blues since making the switch to England.
