Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku arrived in London on Wednesday evening, as the Belgium international prepares to complete a big-money move to Chelsea.
The Blues, who won the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday by beating Villarreal on penalties, have allegedly agreed a £97.5m deal with Inter for the transfer of the 28-year-old.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said earlier in the day that Lukaku was heading for London to finalise a move to the club that he previously represented between 2011 and 2014.
The Belgian was pictured arriving at Biggin Hill Airport following a stop in Monte Carlo, and he is expected to sign a lucrative five-year contract with the European Cup winners.
According to Sky Sports News, the deal is likely to be worth in the region of £200,000 a week, and Chelsea will make an announcement once all of the paperwork has been signed off.
Lukaku has scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter over the last two seasons following a two-year spell at Manchester United, where he found the back of the net on 42 occasions.
The former Anderlecht youngster could potentially be in line to feature in Chelsea's 2021-22 Premier League opener at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
