Liverpool to battle Chelsea for Jaivaro Dilrosun?

Liverpool have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Hertha Berlin attacker Javairo Dilrosun.

The 21-year-old, who spent four years in the Manchester City youth system before joining Hertha, has scored three times and contributed two assists in seven Bundesliga appearances this season.

Last week, it was claimed that Chelsea were preparing to battle Borussia Dortmund for the signature of the left-sided winger, who made his debut for the Netherlands in the latter stages of 2018.

However, according to Calciomercato, Liverpool are also in the hunt for the Dutchman with the Reds sending scouts to watch him in action during the 2019-20 campaign.

Dilrosun made 29 appearances for Man City's Under-23 outfit before leaving the English champions in 2018 after failing to make the breakthrough.

The attacker has a contract with Hertha until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
