Frank Lampard: 'I could leave Chelsea'

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard admits that he is unsure whether he will remain at Stamford Bridge next season.

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has revealed that he would like to remain at Stamford Bridge for the next "two or three years".

A decision on Lampard's future won't be made until after the World Cup, but with the England international yet to sign a new deal, he has admitted that he is uncertain whether he will stay in West London.

The 35-year-old told The Sun: "I don't know if I'll be at Chelsea next season. I'd like to carry on for two or three more years but it would be good to end on a high.

"So, if that means it all ends tomorrow, I wouldn't have any regrets. You know your shelf-life, so I started to mentally prepare when I hit 30. I've been doing this for a long time, so there's a part of me that's looking forward to the future."

Lampard has scored 211 goals in 648 appearances during a 13-year spell with the Blues.
