Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly now determined to stay at Chelsea and fight for his future at the club.
The Spain international has largely struggled to impress for the Blues since arriving in a world-record move from Athletic Bilbao ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
Chelsea are thought to be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, with Kepa, who was left out of the FA Cup final and Champions League last-16 second leg against Bayern Munich in the latter stages of the 2019-20 season, thought to have played his last game for the club.
However, according to The Sun, the 25-year-old no longer wants to leave Stamford Bridge and is determined to prove his worth to head coach Frank Lampard.
Kepa started Chelsea's first pre-season friendly against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon, where new arrival Timo Werner found the back of the net in a 1-1 draw.
The capital giants continue to be linked with a number of goalkeepers, though, and a recent report claimed that Lampard is keen to strengthen in that area of the field this summer.
