Samuel Eto'o would relish Mourinho reunion

Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o suggests that he would be interested in reuniting with former coach Jose Mourinho at Chelsea this summer.

Samuel Eto'o has described Jose Mourinho as one of football's great characters and hinted that he would be interested in playing under him again at Chelsea.

The Cameroonian striker currently plays for Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala, who have apparently put their entire squad up for sale following a poor start to their new season.

Eto'o won the Serie A title and Champions League while playing under Mourinho at Inter Milan, and the 32-year-old has admitted that he would entertain any offer from the Portuguese tactician to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

He told reporters: "There is only one Jose Mourinho. I have played under a lot of great coaches - but there is no other character in the game like Jose.

"He is one of the best coaches in the world - and we had a lot of success together at Inter Milan. I would like to have the chance to play under him again - because it is never boring when Jose is around.

"Of course Chelsea are a great team - and when we have all the offers on the table then I will discuss with my agent and see what my next step is."

Mourinho has indicated that Wayne Rooney is his number one transfer target this summer, but the Blues boss may be forced to look elsewhere if Manchester United refuse to sell the forward.
