Chelsea winger Eden Hazard was reportedly offered to Real Madrid before the Spanish club's Champions League final victory against Liverpool.
Los Blancos have been linked with a swoop for Belgian international Hazard for several months, with reports suggesting that he would be an alternative should the club fail to land Neymar this summer.
According to Marca, Hazard's father, Thierry, told Madrid that his son had put contract talks on hold with Chelsea as he ponders his future in West London.
The source says that Hazard's father also notified Real of the winger's desire to play Champions League football, following Chelsea's fifth-place Premier League finish last term.
Hazard recently told French outlet L'Equipe that Real Madrid "can interest" the 27-year-old, who is currently at the World Cup with Belgium.
