Porto defender Alex Telles is reportedly attracting the attentions of Chelsea.
Blues head coach Antonio Conte is keen to sign a left-sided defender this summer, and it has been well documented that they are interested in Juventus full-back Alex Sandro.
However, despite making progress with a potential transfer, Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race and are prepared to take the Brazilian to the Parc des Princes.
That has left Conte needing to consider alternatives, and according to The Sun, he has made an approach to Porto to ask about the 24-year-old's availability.
It has been suggested that Chelsea are willing to bid in the region of £22m for a player who has also enjoyed spells with Galatasaray and Inter Milan since moving to Europe.
Last season, he made 39 starts for Porto in all competitions.
