Chelsea are reportedly considering whether to offload striker Alvaro Morata in January as the Spanish striker does not appear to be part of Maurizio Sarri's long-term plans.
The 25-year-old has lost his place in the starting lineup to Olivier Giroud, who has started the Blues' last three Premier League games.
According to The Sun, Sarri is more concerned with Morata's inability to press defenders high up the pitch than his disappointing goal return.
Morata, who cost £58m to sign from Juventus in July 2017, has scored once in nine appearances this season and four times in 32 outings since last Boxing Day.
Chelsea will await any offers from foreign clubs in January before deciding whether to cut their losses, it is claimed, with former club Juve previously showing an interest.
