Chelsea have reportedly taken an interest in signing Porto left-back Alex Telles.
During the first half of the season, Marcos Alonso has been used on the left flank, but only Kenedy has provided another left-footed option with Davide Zappacosta occasionally switching sides to deputise for the Spaniard.
However, head coach Antonio Conte remains keen to provide stronger competition for Alonso and according to A Bola, Chelsea have sent scouts to monitor Telles.
The 25-year-old has been with Porto since January 2016, scoring two goals in 60 appearances for the Portuguese giants in all competitions.
Telles still has three and a half years remaining on his contract, but the Brazilian could be allowed to leave for the right price.
Chelsea are expected to let current backup Kenedy leave Stamford Bridge on loan at the start of 2018.
