Chelsea have reportedly offered Paris Saint-Germain £32m to bring David Luiz back to Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian international left Chelsea for a world-record fee of £50m just two years ago, going on to help PSG to back-to-back domestic trebles.
However, the Daily Mail reports that he is open to a return to West London, while PSG have not ruled out the possibility of selling the 29-year-old.
Chelsea are known to be in the market for a new central defender, having already failed in bids to sign Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and AC Milan's Alessio Romagnoli this summer.
PSG have rejected an approach for Marquinhos, but are understood to be more receptive to offers for Luiz, who was taken off by Unai Emery after giving away a penalty during the club's 3-1 defeat to AS Monaco on Sunday.
