Andre Villas-Boas has categorically stated that there is no chance of Loic Remy joining Tottenham Hotspur in this transfer window.
Reports earlier this morning had claimed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had flown to Marseille to finalise a £16m move for the France international forward.
However, Villas-Boas, who has been adamant over his desire to have just three strikers in his Lillywhites squad, has firmly insisted that speculation over Remy was just paper talk.
"There was massive speculation today with Remy and that's not the case," he said.
Asked if he could absolutely confirm that 25-year-old will not coming to Tottenham, Villas-Boas replied: "Yes."
Remy is also thought to be a target for Chelsea and Manchester City.
