Team News: Cesc Fabregas drops to Chelsea bench

Cesc Fabregas starts among the substitutes for Chelsea's trip to Hull City.

Cesc Fabregas and Branislav Ivanovic have dropped to the bench for Chelsea's trip to Hull City this afternoon.

Antonio Conte makes two changes from the side that were humiliated 3-0 at London rivals Arsenal last weekend, with summer signing Marcos Alonso coming in for Ivanovic in the back four alongside Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Victor Moses comes into the middle of the park for his first Premier League start for the Blues since May 2013, while Diego Costa will continue to lead the line with support from Eden Hazard, Nemanja Matic and Willian.

For the hosting Tigers, caretaker Mike Phelan makes three changes from the side that were taken apart 5-1 by Liverpool last time out.

Ahmed Elmohamady is forced to sit out the clash after he saw red for a handball at Anfield, meaning a recall for David Meyler at right-back.

Meanwhile, Dieumerci Mbokani and Markus Henriksen earn their Premier League debuts as Tom Huddlestone and Abel Hernandez are dropped.

Hull City: Marshall; Robertson, Davies, Livermore, Meyler; Clucas, Henriksen, Mason; Snodgrass, Diomande, Mbokani

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Alonso, Cahill, David Luiz; Kante; Matic, Moses, Willian, Hazard; Diego Costa
Subs: Begovic, Ivanovic, Chalobah, Fabregas, Oscar, Pedro, Batshuayi
