Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has insisted that he has no complaints over the squad that he inherited from Jose Mourinho.

Conte led the Blues to three wins from their first three Premier League matches this season, but they have lost two of their last three in the top flight to drop into eighth position in the table.

The Italian inherited somewhat of an ageing squad from Mourinho, but the 47-year-old has claimed that Chelsea's roster is stronger than the one that he had at the start of his Juventus reign.

"I arrived seven years ago [in my first season at Juventus]. I think that the value of the players is not the same, or the talent, as there is now in our team at Chelsea. I am sure there is more [talent] than I had at Juventus in my first season, but we must understand that with only the talent you don't win," Conte told reporters.

"We must add running, intensity, sacrifice, the want to win the ball when you lose the ball, all of this. All of this and we are working very hard to improve this aspect because it is important to understand very quickly and find the right way.

"I am confident about this because the group have great commitment and they work hard. I am very confident about this."

Chelsea will attempt to respond from back-to-back league defeats when they travel to Hull City on Saturday afternoon.
