Team News: Gary Cahill omitted from Chelsea squad

New signing Gary Cahill misses out entirely for Chelsea as they travel to Norwich this lunchtime.

Gary Cahill has failed to make Andre Villas-Boas's squad for the trip to Norwich this lunchtime.

The centre-back was expected to be in Chelsea's squad of 16 at Carrow Road and was reportedly close to starting alongside John Terry at the back.

However, David Luiz remains Terry's partner in a team that one change has been made to, with Daniel Sturridge coming in for Oriol Romeu.

For the home side Paul Lambert makes two changes, with David Fox replacing Wesley Hoolahan while Grant Holt steps in for Simeon Jackson up front.

Norwich: Ruddy; Martin, Whitbread, Ayala, Naughton; Fox, Johnson, Surman, Pilkington; Morison, Holt

Chelsea: Cech; Bosingwa, Luiz, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Meireles, Lampard; Sturridge, Torres, Mata
