John Terry hails Chelsea home form

Chelsea skipper John Terry hails the club's home record under Jose Mourinho, who has not lost any of his 68 league games at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea captain John Terry has praised his side's home form under manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has never lost in the league at Stamford Bridge, a record that extends back 68 matches to his first spell in charge of the club, which began almost a decade ago.

The Blues have won seven of their eight home league matches so far this season and Terry admitted that Mourinho's record meant a lot to the team and made them more confident going into matches at Stamford Bridge.

"We've been great, ever since the manager was first here a long time ago. We've held on to that and [Mourinho's record] means an awful lot to us," Terry told Chelsea TV.

"A couple of [home] games we've conceded early goals, which has probably given us a kick up the backside earlier than we would've wanted to.

"[But] we seem to be more flamboyant at home and at it, which is what you expect and what people want to see. We're very confident at home and we score a lot of goals at home."

Chelsea face Swansea at home on Boxing Day before a top-of-the-table clash with league leaders Liverpool on Sunday, also at Stamford Bridge.
