Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has claimed that Falcao is "very happy" at the club, though admits that the player would like to try another league at some point.
The Colombian has emerged as one of the most coveted strikers in European football, with many sides keeping tabs on his future.
While Cerezo is aware of the interest in the 26-year-old, he has said that he has no immediate concerns about him leaving the club, insisting that Falcao loves being at the Vicente Calderon.
"He tells me he is very happy here and that he wants to honour his contract but one day, we don't know when, he would like to try out another league," Cerezo told Cuatro.
"I know that day will come, but it won't be anytime soon. I can say that he has told me personally that he loves being at this club.
"He is the best number nine in the world at the moment. He is also a lovely, kind guy, and he never loses his temper."
Chelsea are thought to be keen on signing Falcao in the January transfer window.
