Carlo Ancelotti would have "no problem" replacing Jose Mourinho at Chelsea

Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti hints that he would consider another spell with the Blues if Jose Mourinho does not last.

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he would have "no problem" in accepting another stint at Chelsea should manager Jose Mourinho get sacked.

The Blues' disappointing season took another turn for the worse on Saturday when the Premier League champions lost 1-0 at Stoke City for their seventh defeat of the campaign.

With Mourinho's men 16th in the table and 15 points behind co-leaders Manchester City and Arsenal, it has been touted that the Portuguese is nearing the end of his second spell in West London.

However, Ancelotti, who led Chelsea to a league and FA Cup double in 2010, says that the 53-year-old will turn things around - but hinted that he is waiting in the wings to pick up the pieces.

"Jose won't be sacked," the Italian coach, who has won three Champions League titles, told the Daily Mail. "They already choose to keep him, and I think they made a good choice.

"I would have no problem with Chelsea. I would like to come back to work in England.

"I love the football here, I still have a house in London, and I would like to be with a team that is competitive in England and in Europe."

Ancelotti, 56, has been out of work since being sacked by Real Madrid in the summer.
