Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly expressed an interest in buying Turkish club Goztepe SK.
Having been heavily sanctioned by the British government, Abramovich will part ways with Chelsea as soon as possible, with a vast array of bidders currently in the race to purchase the West London outfit.
While the Russian billionaire will not benefit financially from the sale, he has several other business interests which appear to provide him with the opportunity to buy another team.
According to Fanatik, Abramovich is in negotiations to take over at Goztepe, who currently find themselves eight points adrift of safety in the Super Lig standings.
Two of Abramovich's luxury yachts have recently docked in Turkey, who have so far not imposed any sanctions on Russian oligarchs.
The report adds that face-to-face discussions are expected to take place at a time when Raine Group plan to identify their preferred bidders for Chelsea.
