Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has claimed that his recovery from a knee injury is going to plan as he targets a return to action in December.
The Belgium international has been on the treatment table since early September after damaging his knee during a training session.
After undergoing surgery, Courtois began the rehabilitation process and is confident that he will be back between the sticks before the end of the year.
"In terms of my knee, it's good," Courtois told reporters. "I'm doing my rehabilitation and it's progressing well. From [Wednesday], I'll be starting the bulk of the work with my physio to come back as soon as possible.
"Of course I still have to be careful not to go too quickly. I should be back in December, all being well."
Asmir Begovic has been promoted to the number one spot during Courtois's absence.
