Dundee United's Gary Mackay-Steven signs pre-contract agreement to join Celtic

Dundee United's Gary Mackay-Steven signs a pre-contract agreement to join Celtic in the summer.

Celtic have announced that winger Gary Mackay-Steven has signed a pre-contract agreement to join the club from Dundee United in the summer.

Ronny Deila confirmed earlier this week that the Bhoys are interested in the 24-year-old, who is out of contract at Dundee at the end of the season.

League One side Sheffield United were also keen on the winger, but they failed with two bids and now it has been announced that Celtic have won the race for Mackay-Steven's signature.

The player has made almost 130 appearances for Dundee and has scored 27 goals so far.
