Celtic are reported to be closing in on a move for Ajax winger Derk Boerrigter ahead of Tuesday's Champions League deadline.

Celtic are reportedly closing in on Ajax winger Derk Boerrigter ahead of Tuesday's Champions League deadline.

The Hoops must sign the 26-year-old by midnight for him to be eligible to face Elfsborg in Wednesday's third-round qualifier at Parkhead.

The Dutchman is in Glasgow to finalise a £3m deal, according to BBC Sport.

Boerrigter scored six goals last season as Ajax claimed the Eredivisie title.
