Joaquin Larrivey joins Celta Vigo

Argentine forward Joaquin Larrivey signs a new three-year deal with Celta Vigo after leaving Rayo Vallecano.

Argentine forward Joaquin Larrivey has signed a three-year deal with Celta Vigo.

The 29-year-old scored 12 league goals for Rayo Vallecano last season, but has moved to Vigo on a free transfer after failing to agree terms with the capital club.

It is understood that Larrivey will be officially presented as a Celta player when he returns from an extended holiday next month.

The experienced striker also reportedly rejected offers from Turkey to remain in La Liga.
