Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be given £25m as Cardiff City manager to spend on new players during the January transfer window, according to a report.
The Telegraph claims that the current Molde coach continued finals talks with Cardiff owner Vincent Tan in London on Wednesday to become the club's new manager and was assured of funds to add to the squad for the second half of the season.
The 40-year-old former Manchester United striker attended the Bluebirds' Premier League match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on New Year's Day after being flown from Norway on Tan's private jet.
Blackpool's Thomas Ince, Mats Moller Daehli of Molde and Heerenveen's Alfred Finnbogason are all said to be on Cardiff's radar.
