Cardiff City striker Adam le Fondre has completed a loan switch to League One side Bolton Wanderers until the rest of the season.
The 30-year-old had been on a season-long loan with Wigan Athletic in the Championship but the agreement was terminated after he scored just once in 12 league appearances.
Le Fondre previously enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Trotters - then in the second tier - in the 2014-15 season, scoring eight times in 17 appearances.
"This is a move that has been a long time coming," Le Fondre told the club's website. "It's just so nice to be back here and I can't wait to get started."
Phil Parkinson's side are currently third in League One, seven points off the automatic promotion places albeit with two games in hand over second-placed Sheffield United.
