Craig Conway says that Cardiff City do not want to let their lead at the top of the Championship slip.

Craig Conway has warned that Cardiff City must not think they are certain of promotion to the Premier League too early in the season.

The Welsh side had a 10-point lead at the top of the Championship heading into this afternoon's games.

The 27-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Teams have slipped up in the past when looking like they were certain for promotion, so we have to ensure that nothing like that happens to us.

"We've another long trip now to Huddersfield which won't be easy, but our current form away from home is very good.

"Hopefully we can pick up another three points [this afternoon] with the right performance."

Cardiff have five wins in their last six matches.
