Former Houston Dynamo defender Euan Holden signs a 12-month contract with League Two Bury.

Former Houston Dynamo defender Euan Holden has signed for League Two Bury on a permanent basis.

The 26-year-old, who is the younger sibling of USA international midfielder Stuart Holden, joined the Shakers on non-contract terms in February.

He made an impressive debut on the final day of the season and he has now put pen to paper on a 12-month deal at Gigg Lane.

Aberdeen-born Holden previously played for Vejle and FC Hjørring in Denmark, before moving to English non-League outfit Stockport County in 2011.
