Birmingham City have rejected a fourth bid worth £12m from Burnley for striker Che Adams, according to a report.
The Clarets, along with Premier League rivals Southampton, are believed to have prioritised bringing in the striker in the closing hours of the transfer window.
Sky Sports News claims that Birmingham have told Burnley that they have no chance of completing a deal, however, having rejected the Lancashire side's latest offer.
Burnley are said to have been open to the possibility of loaning Adams back to St Andrew's for the remainder of the season, but terms of their EFL transfer embargo mean that is not possible.
City have already registered five new players this season and cannot bring in anyone else.
The report indicates that Birmingham will stand firm on their stance, regardless of any last-minute improved offers.
