Sean Dyche has confirmed that two injured players will be able to return for Burnley as they face Newcastle United this weekend in the Premier League.

Sean Dyche has revealed two players will be fit and available for Burnley this weekend when they compete against Newcastle United.

The two teams will compete on Saturday in what is a six-pointer in the relegation battle for the Premier League, with just three points separating them.

The Clarets do have a game in hand on Eddie Howe's club and they will be boosted by the returns of Ashley Westwood and James Tarkowski at the weekend.

Dyche will be pleased to bring both men back, with the central defender having featured in 12 games this season, contributing one goal to Burnley's campaign.

Meanwhile, Westwood has played in 11 Premier League fixtures so far this season, with both men benefitting from the fact that their game with Tottenham Hotspur was called off last weekend, meaning they have missed less football.

Burnley have the potential of escaping the relegation zone with a victory, depending on other results above them, while Newcastle are yet to win a game in the league this season.
