Bristol Rovers have completed the signing of Andy Bond from Colchester United on a month-long loan deal.
The 27-year-old midfielder, who has made five appearances for the U's this season, has agreed to join the League Two club until October 12.
Bond played under Rovers manager John Ward during his time at Colchester.
"He was the first player I signed when I was manager at Colchester, so I know what he can do," Ward told the club's official website.
"He is an all action player, very energetic and busy, and he can play in a number of different positions.
"He has played in the same team as John-Joe [O'Toole] at Colchester, and if his loan spell here is successful, there is potential to extend his stay."
Bond could make his debut against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
