A goal apiece from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Bjorn Sigurdarson and a Kevin Doyle brace have given Wolverhampton Wanderers a strong 4-0 half-time lead against Bristol City.
Liam Fontaine had the first shot on target and worked Carl Ikeme but the goalkeeper held the shot.
Then in the 17th minute Ebanks-Blake headed over from a good position.
On 20, the striker did have his goal, latching on to Christophe Berra's pass to finish from close range.
Six minutes later it was 2-0 for the visitors and it was through Kevin Doyle, who buried Bjorn Sigurdarson's cut-back.
With four minutes left to play Doyle, netted his second to give Wolves a 3-0 lead.
Sigurdarson cut into the box with a minute to play in the half and finished low to make it 4-0 at the break.
