Brighton & Hove Albion announce Toko Nzuzi capture from Grasshopper Zurich

Brighton & Hove Albion announce the free signing of midfielder Toko Nzuzi from Swiss club Grasshopper Zurich.

Brighton & Hove Albion have announced the free signing of midfielder Toko Nzuzi from Swiss club Grasshopper Zurich.

The Seagulls had agreed a deal to sign the 23-year-old before the season finished, but only announced the capture today, with Nzuzi signing a three-year contract.

"We concluded a deal to sign Toko before their season and ours had ended," Albion chairman Tony Bloom told the club website.

"Now that Toko has completed the season with Grasshopper Zurich we are delighted to welcome him to Brighton & Hove Albion."

Nzuzi has international caps for Congo, but changed his allegiance to Switzerland and has appeared at Under-21 level for the Swiss.
