Marco Reus is reportedly close to signing a one-year contract extension at Borussia Dortmund.
The 33-year-old club captain has spent 11 years at Dortmund, and has featured regularly in their Bundesliga title challenge this season.
Reus has had another productive season, contributing to 15 goals across 24 games, with Dortmund only second to Bayern Munich in the standings.
Therefore, Bild claims that the club are keen to keep Reus at the club for at least another year, and that confirmation on a deal could be confirmed in the next week.
However, Reus is expected to take a huge pay cut of around 40%, taking his annual salary down to €7m (£6.2m) per year.
The deal will run until the summer of 2024, when Reus will be 35.
