The former Liverpool player takes the place of Chris Eagles in midfield and will provide support to David Ngog and Jermaine Beckford in attack.

For Reading, Jobi McAnuff returns to captain the side, while last week's goal scorer Adam Le Fondre is on the bench.

Nick Blackman takes his place after returning from suspension. Danny Guthrie, who scored the winning goal against Ipswich Town, also starts.
