Owen Coyle is concerned with the way his Bolton Wanderers side are currently conceding goals.

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle believes that his side contributed to their own downfall against Norwich City this afternoon.

Wanderers handed the visiting Canaries their first victory of the season, slumping to a 2-1 defeat at the Reebok Stadium.

After the match, Coyle told reporters that he is concerned about the manner in which his side is currently conceding goals.

"I'm disappointed to have lost the game at home today," said Coyle. "I think we know we were going to have a tough start, that happens to teams at this level.

"But my concern is when we concede soft goals, which we did last week and we did it today. You can beat two or three men and hit one from 25 yards, but this is self-inflicted.

"Take nothing away from Norwich, they've come here with a game plan in mind, but to concede the goals we did from two set-plays certainly wasn’t good enough."

Bolton have slipped to 16th in the league table.
