Bolton Wanderers are reportedly seeking to postpone their Premier League fixture with Aston Villa on Tuesday in the wake of Fabrice Muamba's cardiac arrest.

It is believed that Bolton Wanderers will seek to postpone Tuesday's away fixture against Aston Villa.

Wanderers are thought to be in constant dialogue with the Premier League in the wake of the cardiac arrest suffered by midfielder Fabrice Muamba yesterday evening.

The 23-year-old is currently in a critical condition in the heart attack unit of London's Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green.

Yesterday's FA Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur was abandoned by referee Howard Webb as a result of Muamba's situation.

The Trotters will now reportedly request a similar outcome for their upcoming Premier League match against Villa.
